Mechanical engineering is broadly concerned with energy, manufacturing, and design of machines. Mechanical engineers conceive, plan, design, implement, optimize, and direct the manufacture, distribution, and operation of a wide variety of devices, machines, and systems including complex human-machine systems – for energy conversion, bio-fuel production, environmental control, materials processing and handling, transportation, (bio) medical applications, and other purposes. The Mechanical department prides itself to offer a startup based Engineering Degree program. We teach skills and cultivate attitudes that ensure our students a successful career in Mechanical Engineering. Our undergraduate students can count on the applied education that employers are looking for, and our laboratories helps them achieve invaluable practical experience leading them to open their startups while still in college. The Mechanical Department offers detailed study in Automobile engineering, Turbo machines, Aerospace Engineering and Optimization methods in design.
